About

Attached to drawing and figurative painting of classical inspiration, as well as to the French architectural heritage, Thomas Carrère is driven by simplicity and a taste for doing things well, making the gesture a true writing of the gaze.

Graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs en 2019 , then obtaining his professional certification of stone sculptor at the FOREPABE in 2020, Thomas Carrère began his activity in the restoration of French heritage as a stone sculptor at the Atelier Bouvier for 2 years. This allowed him to work on the sites of historical monuments such as the Grand Palais, the cathedral of Sens, the cathedral of Nevers among others.

Driven by a desire to pass on his knowledge, Thomas Carrère also gives private lessons in drawing, painting and modeling, adapted to the needs of everyone, whether amateur or professional.

Since 2023 Thomas Carrère has been teaching drawing, modeling and color at TALM-Tours in the Restoration and Conservation of Sculpted Cultural Property section.
